  • We believe in the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ

  • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and unjust

What we Believe

OUR CORE VALUES

We have chosen eight (8) areas of emphasis that we feel strongly define and guide our model of ministry: our core values. Each is important and necessary to the individual and corporate growth of the congregation.

  1. Family-Focused:  We believe God ordained families and the family unit is the key to changing the community, state, nation and the world. Man was created to be God’s family. (Psalm 78:1-4)

  2. Word-Based:  We believe the Bible to be our infallible guide of faith and practice; we are committed to preaching and teaching in a way that motivates people to believe its principles and practice them in their daily lives. (Psalm 119:89; 105; 138:2)

  3. Spirit-Filled:  We believe every believer should be baptized, empowered and filled with the Holy Spirit. We are committed to encouraging all believers to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit and be released to operate in their divine gifts and ministries. (Acts 1:8; 2:17-18; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12)

  4. Prayer-Driven:  We believe the power of prayer changes lives, works miracles and impacts nations. We are committed to being a house of prayer for all nations as members devote themselves to personal and corporate prayer and intercession. (Mark 11:17)

  5. Worshipful-Living:  We believe every believer is created to worship God. We are committed to exemplifying the presence of God by encouraging a personal lifestyle of worship, facilitating a corporate, prophetic expression, and developing artistic excellence in display the glory of God. (Psalm 22:3; 86:9; 19:1-3; Ephesians 1:12)

  6. Discipleship-Oriented:  We believe in equipping believers to do the work of the ministry and are committed to following the example of Christ by disciplining individuals into spiritual maturity that enables them to reproduce Christ in others. (Matthew 28:19-20; John 13:35; Ephesians 4:11-13; 2 Timothy 2:2)

  7. Harvest-Commissioned:  We believe Christ died for all and we are committed to sharing the gospel with our community and the nations while ministering healing and liberty to individuals and families in all aspects of their lives. (Psalm 2:8; Joel 3:13; Mark 16:15-16)

  8. Body-Minded:  We believe the united Body of Christ is expressed as a loving family and are committed to building community by facilitating fellowship and relationship for every age, gender, status, and ethnicity. (1 Corinthians 12)
